As of 1 December 2019, Finn Lysell, the company’s sales manager for the Danish market for the last three years, has replaced Lene Harders as Nordic Sales Manager. - Except for the fact that I’m new to the managing role, everything is business as usual. Both our show- room in Bella Center in Copenhagen and our show- room in Helsinki Fashion House are showing lots of activity, and we’re looking forward to meeting our customers again for Copenhagen Fashion Week in January, says Finn Lysell. In 2019, Gerry Weber introduced a new sales struc- ture after feedback from customers. With the new structure, purchases are carried out much closer to delivery. - It gives customers greater certainty and more con- fidence because the closer they get to the season, the more they know about it. And so the chances of making the right choices on colour, trend, and style increase, says Finn Lysell who also highlights Gerry Weber’s strong NOOS programme which has been expanded with several new materials and styles. - Among our news in design I would like to mention Taifun - a younger brand in the Gerry Weber portfolio. The brand is upgrading its design and the quality of its fabrics, giving retailers and customers a younger look and better materials at the same price, says Finn Lysell. He wants to continue to build even closer relationships with retailers. Another priority at Gerry Weber is that customers should always have access to service in their own language. That’s why the team of six is put together so they speak both Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, and English.
