Q | How does functional elements and fashion
trend play together in Luhta’s design?
A | En af de vigtigste idéer bag Luhta er at kom-
binere moderigtigt design med funktionelle
elementer. Konkret sker det eksempelvis ved
at anvende vandtætte og båndbare materialer
sammen med moderigtige designs.
Kollektionerne er designet til stilbevidste men-
nesker, der værdsætter omhyggeligt design-
ede detaljer og høj funktionalitet.
One of the most important Luhta idea is to
combine fashionable design with functional
elements. For instance we use waterproof and
breatable fabrics in modern and fashionable
designs.
The collections are designed to style-consci-
ous people who appreciate carefully designed
details and functionality.
The Luhta brand is using recycled fabrics in the
Ski collection for A/W 20/21 and our aim is to
increase recycled and organic cotton materials
in future.
The most of our WR materials are PFC free.
Luhta Sportswear Company complies with
laws and international norms and is com-
mitted to continuous improvement of its social

KEYWORDS FOR
LUHTA FOR A/W 20/21
City:
Luhta’s urban collection combines
fashion with the comfort and ease
of sportswear. Rich, nature-inspired
colours, new luxurious materials and
floral prints create the sportswear
chic look for women. The men’s line
presents a rougher, industrial feel in
rusty orange.
Outdoor:
From the North Pole to you. Inspired
by harsh winter conditions, the new
outdoor collection builds on loose
and puffy jackets, and midlayers with
a modern take on traditional knit-
wear. What truly stands out are the
waterproof and windproof Gore-Tex
jackets for men and women. As for
the colours, men’s blue, red and green
noir are freshened up by pure yellow
and nougat. Women’s sporty red and
blue are balanced by the nude palette
with beige and different pink shades.
Scandinavian:
The collection focuses on midlayers
made of wool-blend materials, teddy
pile and felt-like fabrics to create a
unique urban look with strong nature
orientation. All coats come in parka
lengths. The style has a raw and rustic
look that is emphasised by the brown
shades of leather, rust and cognac.
Ski:
This ski season is all about patterns
and structures. Graphic, jacquard and
rose designs for her work their magic
in black and white, light melange
grey and limoncello. A new addition
are the fabrics that contain recycled
materials. It is now possible to create
an entire ski outfit with recycled fibres.
In the men’s selection, structured fa-
brics reign alongside four-way-stretch
materials in green noir, bright blue and
melange grey.
