Gallery has a call centre consisting of 10 staff members who are inviting buyers from around the world to Denmark – which will bring together the leading buyers in the industry and generate Gallery’s highest number of visitors up until now in January 2014. Gallery is currently working with WHO’s Next in Paris and Cotterie in NYC on common ticketing and Northern Europe’s biggest design award established in cooperation with DHL. Add to that entertainment from the Royal Danish Ballet and the Royal Danish Academy of Music with participation of ministers and the royal family. It is the largest export campaign to date in connection with Copenhagen Fashion Week. We fly in 40 Chinese buyers and editors. Gallery created the campaign in partnership with major Danish players on the Chinese market such as Carlsberg, Saxo Bank, Ecco, Georg Jensen, Utzon and Kvadrat as well as the Danish Chamber of Commerce. Scandinavian Blogger Award with participation of the region’s 200 leading bloggers. Nine fashion shows from Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark plus one show with Swedish House Mafia are planned. A large retail conference takes place on Wednesday, 29 January 2014 in Forum with participation of Miinto, Net a Porter’s founder and leading retail professionals from around the world. Gallery is the only fair that offers free train fares from Sweden – buyers from Norway can take the train to and from Gothenburg free of charge. There is free transport from the airport every ten minutes. And then there is a dinner for 600 buyers and designers on 29 January.
