Når det gælder tekstiler, vil vi hente inspiration
”i arkivet”, hvor gamle virksomheder vil
finde ideer i tidligere heritage-designs, mens
yngre firmaer må nøjes med at hente inspiration
i epokernes generelle mønstre.
Oprindelige vægmalerier i historiske settings
vil blive genoplivet og tilføjer autenticitet og
dramatiske scenerier til moderne locations
som restauranter og hoteller, mens boligfolket
må ty til mindre items som antikke
møbler, tapeter, draperede stoffer og gamle
portrætmalerier i fine rammer for at skabe
nogle af de samme effekter.
As the season moves towards autumn and
winter, interior designers will turn their attention
to previous eras and new interpretations
of them. The winter interior style is
luxurious, romantic, and personal. A home
should show the personal history of the
people living there, and that is why individual
items - such as heirlooms, flea market
finds, and travel mementos - will be given
prominent places in many homes. Art such
as busts, paintings, and so on will also be a
priority. The goal is to create a safe atmosphere
and a personal base full of memories.
Anja Bisgaard Gaede has named the trend
Home&Heritage, and the associated colour
theme is based on deep, delicate colours
with feminine undertones, forming a simple
look. Among the colours are deep redbrown
tones, dusty rose, and petrol blue as
well as black and white.
Wood panels are among the elements
drawn from previous eras, as are plaster
mouldings, display cabinets, and glass
cabinets where personal heirlooms such
as bevelled glass items can be displayed.
Marble and natural stone are also important
materials in this theme. We are also seeing
many variants of small glass cases with
glass domes used to collect and protect
items that people want to take care of and
display. The cases have modern designs,
elegantly complementing the more classic
items to form a contemporary interior
design style. We will be paying homage to
the designs of previous eras and we will see
the return of things such as leaded windows
and classic patterns in wallpapers, curtains,
and rugs. Typically, the classic patterns will
be reimagined with new colours, materials,
backgrounds, and so on.
