SUMMARY
When CIFF opens its doors at the August show on
Sunday 9 August 2020, buyers will again find A-VIEW
in the Stylesetters area in Bella Center.
- We had a fantastic show last time with good foot
traffic and great interest in our brand, concept, and
collection. I hope that the buyers are ready for the
new season at CIFF despite the current Coronavirus
challenges. Don’t we all need a bit of new inspiration
after all? We’re ready with two strong collections in
exciting and exclusive materials, says Jakob Bording
Andersen.
A-VIEW introduces eight collections per year, and the
August collection, which buyers can still supplement
from, will be presented at the show together with an
all-new collection for delivery in September 2020.
The brand caters to both retail stores and online

og Moves by Minimum - sidstnævnte
Aarhus.

- A-VIEW’s new designer Mette Østergaard is behind
the collections, and they’re spot when it comes to current
trends. She has an excellent eye for details and
she’s great at creating a common thread and feeling
throughout the whole design, says the director.
Mette Østergaard has a background as a designer
with Minimum, Moves by Minimum, and Pieces, and
she has been a part of the A-VIEW team since spring
2020.
Generally, A-VIEW aims to create “affordable luxury”
with its collections. The company designs clothes
for women with the clear idea that all women should
have the opportunity to dress fashionably, regardless
of age.
- That’s why we always want to have an up-to-date
sense of what’s happening in the fashion industry, and
our designs are very much inspired by the hottest fashion
trends, explains Jakob Bording Andersen.
- The look and the materials exude “designer brand”,
and we want the customer to be both surprised and
pleased when she sees the price. We strategically
seek out positions in stores where our products will
be seen as alternatives to high-end brands. Where the
customer gets a similar design as well as up-to-date
fashion at a better price with us, expands Jakob Bording
Andersen who has more than 30 years of experience
in the fashion industry, including with Minimum
and Moves by Minimum - the latter of which he was
part of developing.
At A-VIEW’s stand you will find the Danish sales team
as well as agents from Norway, Sweden, Belgium, Ireland,
and the Netherlands.
- We have experienced great international interest, and
we’re already present in five export markets. We’re
looking forward to building relationships with customers
from other countries, and we will definitely be
expanding to more markets in the long term. The Coronavirus
crisis has made clear that retail stores are
actually better served by not investing so heavily in
long-term collections and instead focusing more on
relationships with express brands, ends the director
from Aarhus.
