BLUE PLANET JEANS FROM BRAX BRAX initiatives BRAX is taking part in several initiatives connecting their production with a socially sustainable way of procurement securing a brighter look into the future of fashion production. Blue Planet BRAX is cooperating with Candiani Denim An innovative washing procedure using ozone is combined with the use of lasers in order to significantly reduce the use of water, chemicals and energy to a pair of Blue Planet jeans. BRAX is also working together with experts on additional innovative and environmentally gentle production processes. Strategies are being worked out for application of sustainable raw materials so that the Blue Planet collections and the offering of sustainable clothing can be expanded further. ADVERTORIAL SEAQUAL INITIATIVE Recycled fabrics for a clean ocean To follow the trend of re-using every material for producing regenerated fibers BRAX also support initiatives working to use recycled fabrics resulting in a cleaner ocean. BRAX school class in Dhaka, Bangladesh The collaborative efforts of BRAX, 7 STREAMS and ZXY International in partnership with JAAGO Foundation is a step towards encouraging children of lowincome families in Rayer Bazar to go to school free of cost. Support for former street children in India In autumn 2017, we took part in the 7th Charity Sale for the Childaid Network Foundation by providing a large donation of clothing. The proceeds generated by the donation event amounted to some € 6,500 and they were used to finance the living expenses of former street children in India. Adult education project in the Dominican Republic At the end of 2013, we joined forces with our local production partner to support a national education project in the Dominican Republic.
