Hos Holmetex er man ikke nervøs for, at antallet
af indkøbere til modeugen i København vil
blive lavt denne sommer.
- Jeg tror tværtimod, der er et opsparet behov
for at komme ud at møde andre mennesker, at
tale face-to-face med andre i branchen og opleve
noget. Det vante og trygge indkøbsmiljø
i Bella Center kan booste købelysten, og hos
Holmetex vi er under alle omstændigheder
klar til at være en del af stemningen og tilføre
positiv energi, slutter Susan Holme.
SUMMARY
When NU visited Holmetex on a lovely summer
day, the office was busy. In February
2020, the company won the rights to sell the
many Tom Tailor lines in Denmark, Norway,
and Sweden. Holmetex already holds distribution
rights for Fila - which is currently trending
very well in Scandinavia - as well as for US
Polo clothing, another recent addition.
- Tom Tailor is a total concept with clothing,
bags, interior items, shoes, and perfume — all

the things that belong in a modern
lifestyle brand. To start
with, we’re going to focus on
selling the clothing lines for women
and men, and just within
this category there are multiple
series, including Tom Tailor,
Tom Tailor Plus, Tom Tailor Denim, and so
on. All the products are marked by high quality
and good fit. It’s German quality when it’s
best, states Supply Chain Manager Susan
Holme.
- The high quality applies across the entire
brand, including in areas such as delivery times,
the NOOS system, production conditions,
and so on. To put it simply, everything is
under control in all areas of the brand, concludes
Susan Holme.

- We see Tom Tailor as a commercial brand
and due to its competitive prices as a good

alternative to the very dominant, big Danish
fashion brands for women and men. With
Tom Tailor, a store can carry a brand that isn’t
already available in three other stores on the
same street or in the same shopping centre.
And the attractive pricing provides for good
mark-ups, adds brand manager Ulrich Tilsted.
In the long term, Holmetex wants to introduce
the Tom Tailor shop-in-shop concept together
with retailers in Scandinavia.
Holmetex isn’t worried that the number of buyers
for this year’s fashion week in Copenhagen
will very low.
- Quite to the contrary, I think there’s a pentup
desire to get out and meet other people,
speak face-to-face with others in the industry,
and gain new experiences. The familiar
and safe buying environment in Bella Center
might boost people’s willingness to buy. No
matter what, Holmetex is ready to be part of
the atmosphere and contribute to the positive
energy, ends Susan Holme.
