Copenhagen Fashion Week, CIFF, Revolver og
brancheorganisationerne DM&T og Wear har
besluttet at flytte modeugen i København til
den 9.-12. august 2020.
- Copenhagen Fashion Week bliver anderledes
end normalt. Nogle aspekter bliver
udfordrende, og andre aspekter vil være forfriskende
nye og innovative. Fælles for alt og
vigtigst: Vi har tilpasset os situationen, og vi
er klar til at holde messen
på en sundhedsmæssig ansvarlig
måde under hensyntagen
til alle de nødvendige
forholdsregler for at skabe
et trygt rum for både udstillere
og besøgende, siger
Christian Maibom.
Revolver vil i august 2020
iklæde alle mærker den
samme ”skoleuniform”, naturligvis
tilpasset individuelt
efter forskellige størrelsen
på standen, men med
nøjagtigt det samme udtryk.
Det betyder, at Revolver
tilbyder alle brands ens
borde, stole, reoler og skilte.
På den måde reducerer Revolver
udstillernes omkostninger
til et minimum.
Revolver har mulighed for

at udvide med ekstra plads
og opdele messen i mindre
enheder for at leve op til
krav om antal mennesker
per kvadratmeter. Der er
desuden tilføjet en ekstra
dag til modeugen, og for
Revolver vil det være muligt
at forlænge åbningstiderne.
NYE DIGITALE
LØSNINGER
Revolver er endvidere klar med nye digitale
løsninger. Messen har udviklet et digitalt kalendersystem,
som i forbindelse med registreringen
vil hjælpe både messen og de enkelte
mærker med at kontrollere flow og trafik.
Revolver har desuden - i samarbejde med
Traede - udviklet et digitalt showroom til hvert
brand. I det digitale showroom får indkøberne
mulighed for at kigge nærmere på kollektionerne
inden besøget på Revolver, og indkøbere,
der ikke har mulighed for at besøge
København og Revolver denne sæson, får
chancen for at gennemse messen digitalt.
- Vi er stolte af at præsentere en række nye
og relevante digitale initiativer, som i kombination
med den fysiske messe helt sikkert
vil optimere det samlede resultat af Revolver
for hver udstiller. Når det er sagt i den tro, at
hverken den fysiske eller den digitale løsning
kan stå alene. Vi er helt overbeviste om, at det
fysiske messe og mødet mellem mennesker
og kollektioner aldrig har været vigtigere. På
nogle måder vil det være lidt tilbage til de
"gode gamle messedage" med mindre oseri
og mere reel forretning, hvor ordrer placeres
på messen, siger Christian Maibom.

WE’RE READY FOR
THE SEASON
Modeugen i København bliver anderledes denne gang.
Nogle elementer bliver udfordrende, mens andre bliver
forfriskende nye og innovative, fastslår Revolvers Creative
Director Christian Maibom.
Copenhagen Fashion Week will be different than usual.
Some aspects become challenging and other aspects will be
refreshingly new and innovative, states Revolver’s Creative
Director Christian Maibom.
SUMMARY
Revolver has, together with Copenhagen Fashion
Week, CIFF and the trade organisations
Wear and DM&T, decided to move the fashion
week to August 9 - August 12, 2020.
“Copenhagen Fashion Week will be different
than usual. Some aspects become challenging
and other aspects will be refreshingly
new and innovative. We have adapted to the
situation and we’re ready to execute in a health-wise
responsible way taking all precautions
needed to create a safe space for both
brands and visitors,” says Christian Maibom.
For the upcoming season, Revolver is planning
to dress all brands in the same “school
uniform”, naturally graduated individually after
different sizes, but with exactly the same look.
Meaning, Revolver will deliver all brands the
same design of table, chairs, shelving’s and
signs. This way, Revolver will reduce costs for
the exhibitors to a minimum.
Concerning the limitations in the numbers
of people gathered in one venue, Revolver
has the possibility to use more than one venue
and divide the crowd into smaller units.
Also, one extra day is added to the fashion
week, and in addition
it will also be possible
to extend the opening
hours.
Revolver is also ready
with new digital solutions
that will further
support the flow of visiting
buyers. Revolver
has developed a digital
calendar system that
in combination with
the registration site,
will help both the trade
show and the brands
to control flow and traffic
and also ensure that
Revolver complies with
any restrictions on the
amount of assembly.
Likewise, in collaboration
with Traede, Revolver
has developed
a ‘digital showroom’
for each brand. In
combination with the
registration site, the
buyers are given the
opportunity to look
into the collections
before the visit to Revolver,
and buyers who
do not have the opportunity
to visit Copenhagen
and Revolver this season can browse the
trade show digitally.
“We are proud to present a number of new
and relevant digital initiatives that, in combination
with the physical trade show, will certainly
optimize the overall outcome of Revolver
for each exhibitor. That said in the belief
that neither the physical nor the digital solution
can stand-alone. We are absolutely convinced
that the physical tradeshow and the
meeting between people and collections have
never been more important. In some ways, it
will be a bit back to the “good old trade show
days” with less browsing and more real business
meaning orders being placed and settled,”
says Christian Maibom.
