Due to this, she was able to work smoothly within her Maasai tribe. She was also able to erase various sexist stigmas, including the stigma against women’s education. This school also allows Maasai girls to understand their rights and what they have the ability to do within their lives. This shows how Kakenya’s school for girls is leading towards the minimization of sexist ways within the Maasai region. Through this school she has been able to extent the learning period for countless Maasai girls. This means that girls throughout the Maasai region have a chance in becoming potential teachers, lawyers, and doctors. This school gives Maasai girls an immense amount of hope. It also gives Kakenya Ntaiya hope, for it is potentially her greatest achievement in her fight against gender inequality in education. In all, through building Kakenya’s Center for Excellence, Kakenya has been able to help gender inequality education in an extremely effective way.
