FUND TO
CURE CANCER
Since 2009, Dr. Bruce and Kathy Elsey and their company Dr.
Elsey’s Products have contributed the transformative funding
of nearly $10 million to support the mission of the MMRF,
which is to accelerate meaningful advances to fuel critical
new therapies for myeloma patients and advance a cure.
Since Kathy’s diagnosis of multiple myeloma in 2009, they
have combined corporate success with a philanthropic cause:
a commitment to cure cancer. Drawing on a unique business
model, the Colorado couple sought to create an innovative
way to share their success with the MMRF and myeloma
patients everywhere. The answer came in the creation of a
collaborative business model that supports the MMRF through
Dr. Elsey’s Products directing a portion of their customers’
purchases to the MMRF.
“We were so thankful for the treatments available to us that
we wanted to give back to the MMRF to help more treatments
become available for patients in the same situation. We felt a
need to give back to all those minds that have created these

life-saving treatments for patients. We wanted other patients
to receive the same options we have received, and hopefully
in the near future, cures,” says Kathy Elsey.
In March, the Elseys and Dr. Elsey’s Products team were
honored with the MMRF Corporate Commitment Award at the
very first Patient Summit in their community of Denver. Their
visionary leadership and inspirational support of the MMRF’s
scientific and patient programs have enabled advances that
would otherwise not be possible. Dr. Elsey’s is also committed
to caring for the pets who serve as a special kind of therapy for

The Elseys hope to inspire other individuals and companies
