THE
PURPOSE-DRIVEN
MENTOR
“I have always had the gifts of encouraging others and
being resourceful. The ministry allows me to do both while
offering the unique opportunity to foster relationships
and collaborative efforts with other ministries, businesses,
community leaders, and nonprofits.”
MMIA What’s the one thing you wish
you knew when you started out?
TABATHA How to engage and educate parents more in the day-to-day
lives of their children while maintaining a healthy balance between work
and family.
MMIA What part of your biz are you
most passionate about?
TABATHA The ministry of helping
others improve from their current
state to become better.
MMIA How do you balance the roles
of entrepreneur and mom?
TABATHA I carve out time specifically for my daughters and spend time
with each individually as well as together. I also allow them opportunities
to participate in the community events
and ministry projects as well as offer
perspective from their viewpoint.
MMIA How do your children feel
about mommy being an entrepreneur?
TABATHA They love it, and it helps

them to realize that they too have a
unique purpose and gifts.
MMIA What are your unique gifts
and talents and how do you use them
in your biz?
TABATHA I have always had the gifts
of encouraging others and being resourceful. The ministry allows me to
do both while offering the unique opportunity to foster relationships and
collaborative efforts with other ministries, businesses, community leaders,
and nonprofits to support a common
vision. My platform as a coach and
mentor allows me to encourage others to live up to their full potential
and tap into their talents and gifts to
find their true purpose in life.
MMIA What are your views on moms
becoming entrepreneurs?
TABATHA I think that it is a positive
thing that shows that we are multidimensional and able to be both nurturing in a maternal way while balancing
the needs to take care of being a great
provider if need be and role model.
