helped the children learn the skill might be stretching it. In David Perkin’s
book on Making Learning Whole, without the children going through the
difficult parts of practising on the tougher parts to acquire the skill, the
child would not have quite learnt it. Perhaps, this is where assessment
plays a key role in bringing about learning within each of our students.
