failure’ is such an impactful one that it was stuck in my mind for a long
time. Isn’t that we as educators should always strive to do? Aside from the
greater successes that students will be able to achieve, the intangible
benefits such as sense of achievement, greater self-confidence and
motivation to work hard are valuable qualities that will see our students in
good stead in the future. In order to do this, I reflected on the importance of
having each teacher establishing quality teacher-student relationships
w here they know and understand their students, as an individual, well. As a
Year Head, this shall be one of my key focuses when I return to school, so
that we truly deliver quality education, customised to the strengths and
needs of each and every student that passes through our hands.
