Hello MLP Members ,
Dues renewal season is winding down at the MLP office with nearly a 90 % renewal rate . Thank you for your prompt membership renewals that help keep our association strong .
If you haven ’ t renewed , this will be your last newsletter . We ’ d hate to see you go ! Please hop online to MLP-MCLP . org and follow the big green button to renew — or give us a call at the MLP office so we can get you squared away .
In our second year of offering the affiliate membership for company employees , we ’ ve seen a solid uptick in numbers for this category . Employees of member companies should “ opt in ” as an affiliate member for just $ 18 per year to gain member discounts on certification materials and educational programming . This is particularly important for MCLPs — membership gains them recertification credits and covers the $ 75 recertification fee as well ! For larger scale events , such as Fall Field Day , MLP will continue to offer the “ employee of member company ticket ” so that members can bring non-member crew at a discount .
If you ’ re hiring for the 2022 season , be sure to take full advantage of your member benefits and post your job openings at the MLP website . Your job posting will remain active for three months or until you fill your job . This section of the website sees a lot of traffic . If you need any help posting the job , just let me know .
