MCLP UPDATE
Hello MLP Members and fellow MCLPs ,
I hope this newsletter is finding you all safe and healthy . Despite a challenging 2020 , the MCLP committee made great efforts to successfully keep the program on track ! We are looking forward to continuing to help our peers move their careers forward in 2021 .
Our next exam will be held in two sessions on Friday , march 5 , 2021 at MLP ’ s training room in Medfield . We wish all candidates the best of luck ! We ’ ll be offering the exam in August and November , so there is plenty of opportunity to pursue MCLP certification in 2021 .
MLP did an amazing job in 2020 of cultivating online learning opportunities for MCLP credits and will continue to do so in 2021 . In March , I ’ m looking forward to hearing Kerry Ann Mendez ( Estabrook Garden Center & Nursery ) discuss perennials , annuals , and other flowering plants . You can visit the MLP website to register for these learning opportunities . We miss getting together but have to admit — online learning is super easy and efficient !
We also encourage you to take advantage of MLP ’ s Affiliate Membership program . It ’ s truly essential for our fellow MCLP ’ s because it provides us all with discounts on educational webinars , gives us our MLP membership credit for recertification and covers our recertification fee . The annual dues are just $ 18.00 . If you haven ’ t signed up for the Affiliate Membership , please do so now so you receive these membership benefits !
