This column focuses on what ' s happening around the MLP office and answers some of MLP ' s frequently asked membership questions .
Hello MLP Members , The MLP Office has remained in high gear all summer long and fall gets even busier !
Thank you to those of you who have taken the time to respond to the 2021 MLP Member Survey . The feedback thus far has been fantastic , with many members taking time to offer detailed suggestions . Survey results will be shared in more detail at the end of the year .
It is noteworthy that nearly 100 % of survey respondents prefer MLP communication to arrive via email . This is reassuring because it ’ s our preferred method as well ! But this also means that is very important that you have a working email address in the MLP database . Nowadays , it ’ s possible that our emails are not delivered to you – or delivered to your junk folder – and you ’ d never know they ’ re being missed ! There are two steps you can take to make sure your emails are getting to you from the MLP Office :
1 . Check your spam folder for emails from MLP-MCLP . org and mark those emails as “ not spam .”
2 . OPEN emails that you receive from MLP . This tells your email service that these emails are of value to you . Just opening the emails can prevent them from being filtered out in the future .
Membership renewal will open in October ( online ) and via paper invoicing in November . Watch your email for an invitation to renew your membership quickly and easily right through the website .
The online system for recertification that opened last year was well-received . Any MCLPs who have lapsed in their certification may still access their 2020 form and submit credits with a late fee . Recertification for 2021 will open in November . Again , MCLPs , please watch your email for reminders !
