Each year, Colorado Springs Magazine surveys doctors in the El Paso County Medical Society to learn who they would recommend if they or a family member needed care. In 2021, our doctors earned unprecedented accolades from their peers with 39 Children’ s Colorado doctors in their“ Top Docs” list. Our doctors also swept seven of the nine pediatric-only specialties.
Children’ s Colorado has again received the highest international recognition for excellence in nursing from the American Nurses Credentialing Center’ s( ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program ®. We are among the ranks of less than 100 hospitals worldwide that have achieved Magnet re-designation for the fourth time.
The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives( CHIME) has once again named Children’ s Colorado as a 2020 Digital Health Most Wired organization, qualifying for the Performance Excellence Award, recognizing that we are among hospitals and health systems at the forefront of technology use that improves delivery of care.
Children’ s Colorado was named the winner of the 2018 Governor’ s Award for Worksite Wellness recognizing our efforts to build a culture of health and safety in the workplace.
