What a pleasure it was to receive such vibrant and positive feedback regarding our last edition. As we approach Pesach 5776, we reflect with our Chief Rabbi on the heroism displayed by our brothers and sisters in Israel, not unlike the bravery of our forbears at the Sea of Reeds; and we get a look into the terror fighting life of Steven Flatow. In a similar vein we reflect on the profound impact of just one of the victims of the most recent wave of terror, may it end soon. On the positive side, we examine the positive influence Israel is having on bird conservation. We are graced with a reflection on the relationship between Torah and Evolution as well as a discussion on Torah and Technology and an article by our latest YAD Rabbinic program member – Doron Chitiz.
