Even though I am educated , even though I am an activist , even though I choose to be a part of the revolution that wills itself to empower women and change the dynamics of gender equality on this planet , I still find myself seceding to the impossible image of what it means to be a woman , whether by my choice or imposed upon me . This is the problem . Navigating through censorship has not only become difficult , but it ’ s become a full time job that even most feminists are having a hard time agreeing how to take the monster of it all , down . This isn ’ t about sex . This is about the autonomy of my body , my choice , my life – and , choosing how it is I want to live in it .
Either way , like it ’ s been stated before , by I ’ m sure a wonderfully smart and bad-ass women , if one day we stopped sexualizing the breasts , as if that was their sole purpose in this world , then maybe one day we can actually start sexualizing , I don ’ t know , an obvious sexual organ , like the clitoris ; then maybe you ’ d pay more attention to finding it and my ability to orgasm .
