All games, including the semifinals and championship, are hosted by participating schools. The Postseason WNIT will celebrate its 17th year with the 2014 event. The expansion to 64 teams in 2010 was planned to accommodate a stronger field of teams. The tournament will continue to feature an automatic berth for each of the nation’s 31 established conferences, in addition to now offering at-large berths to 33 teams. The 2014 Postseason WNIT will feature 32 first-round games, followed by 16 secondround games, eight third-round g ames, four quarterfinal games, two semifinal games, and the championship.
