Returning is the 2012-13 MVC Defensive Player of the Year and MVC first-teamer Alex Harden plus MVC All-Tournament Team member, Michaela Dapprich. Michelle Price is the lone senior while Kelsey Jacobs rounds out the returners. Alie Decker, who played in five games during an injury-riddled freshman season, provides moderate experience as a redshirt freshman. • Reigning MVC Coach of the Y ear Jody Adams needs 22 victories to become the winningest coach in Wichita State history. She enters the year with 92 wins, second place behind Linda Hargrove, who amassed 113 victories over a nine-year period from 1989-98. • The three graduated four-year seniors (Jessica Diamond, Jazimen Gordon, and Chynna Turner) produced the highest single-season, two-, three-, and four-year win totals in school history. Diamond left as the No. 5 scorer (1,432 points) and assist-maker (380) at Wichita State, while Gordon placed 3rd in blocked shots (119) and Turner set the school record for games played (130).
