Marshall broke Ahearn’s MSU freshman scoring record by registering 368 points in 32 games as a Bears’ rookie. • The Bears will get the services of two top rebounders back this season with the return of seniors Jarmar Gulley (5.8 rpg, 25 GS in 2011-12) and Keith Pickens (4.7 rpg, 19 GS in 2012-13). Gulley missed the entire 201213 campaign recovering from a torn ACL, while Pickens’ plans to leave the game due to chronic knee pain were modified with his announced return in September. • With 100 games under his belt, senior Nathan Scheer is the most seasoned Bear headed into the 2013-14 season. He was a member of the MVC All-Bench Team in 2013 and is a two-time MVC Scholar-Athlete Team selection. Basketball Support Staff Jermaine Henderson Asst. Coach 74 Derrick Tilmon Asst.
