Littleton is the all-time leading scorer in Wichita
State history, compiling 2,164 points. He also
holds three other WSU records. He was the first
Shocker to be drafted by the pros.
NBA’s 50 GREATEST PLAYERS
On Oct. 29, 1996, the NBA announced its 50
Greatest Players in NBA History. Of that list of
NBA greats, The Valley has three former league
standouts on the list: Larry Bird of Indiana
State, Oscar Robertson of Cincinnati and Wes
Unseld of Louisville. Walt Frazier, who played at
Southern Illinois-Carbondale when the Salukis
were not part of the Conference, also made the
list of NBA immortals.

Honors
On August 22-24, 1997, the American Basketball Association Reunion Committee honored its
ABA All-Time Team at an ABA Reunion in Indianapolis, Ind.
Three former Missouri Valley Conference standouts -- Warren Jabali of Wichita State and Willie
Wise and Bob Netolicky of Drake -- were named
to the 30-man all-time squad.
