Loving Like Christ
Giving It All – And More
This time of year always gives us an opportunity to reflect upon the
love of Christ and our love for one another. Mary and I are so very
thankful for the love that you have shown the Youth and Discipleship
Department and our family.
As I reflect on God’s grace and love that He has shown each of us this
year, I am reminded of a quote from, A Christmas Carol:
"At this festive season of the year, Mr. Scrooge," said the gentleman,
taking up a pen, "it is more than usually desirable that we should make
some slight provision for the poor and destitute, who suffer greatly at
the present time. ... We choose this time, because it is a time, of all
others, when Want is keenly felt, and Abundance
rejoices."

In the hustle and bustle it is easy to find ourselves living as though we
are in what Verizon calls, “the season of Thanksgetting.” Friends,
through Christ, we have great wealth to GIVE. Find Want and share
God’s Love, Joy and Kindness in Abundance.
