Clay Jensen returns home from school to find a mysterious box with his name on it lying on his porch. Inside he discovers several cassette tapes recorded by Hannah Baker--his classmate and crush--who committed suicide two weeks earlier. On tape, Hannah explains that there are thirteen reasons why she decided to end her life. Clay is one of them. If he listens, he'll find out how he made the list. Through Hannah and Clay's dual narratives, debut author Jay Asher weaves an intricate and heartrending story of confusion and desperation that will deeply affect teen readers.
Quentin Jacobsen has spent a lifetime loving the magnificently adventurous Margo Roth Spiegelman from afar. So when she cracks open a window and climbs back into his life–dressed like a ninja and summoning him for an ingenious campaign of revenge–he follows. After their all-nighter ends and a new day breaks, Q arrives at school to discover that Margo, always an enigma, has now become a mystery. But Q soon learns that there are clues–and they’re for him. Urged down a disconnected path, the closer he gets, the less Q sees of the girl he thought he knew.

Amelita
Two years after "Love After War", here's now the follow-up and sixth studio album by blue-eyed crooner Robin Thicke entitled "Blurred Lines". The set, which is scheduled for release in the US on July 30th. The "Blurred Lines" era shows an evolution in Robin's career in the sense he's experimenting with more groovy, and sometimes funky beats, instead of the classy, crooner-heavy records he's done in the past.
Sisters Emily Robison and Martie Maguire are best known for comprising two-thirds of the Dixie Chicks, but they also collaborate just between themselves. On July 16th, they will release Amelita, their second album as Court Yard Hounds. Martie Maguire wrote or cowrote seven of the 11 songs on the album, but it’s Robison who does most of the lead singing. Sharp lyrics and tight harmonies are what make this project special. The lead single ‘Sunshine’ is a sneaky, sarcastic song about a friend who thinks a little too much of herself. Conversely, ‘Phoebe’ is a ballad about a suicide.
