Perfect Sized Mittens
What you’ll need:
• Old sweater, preferable one
made from wool or at least
for 70% wool
• Pair of scissors
• Pen or something to draw
the lines on the sweater
• Optional: needle and thread
(and a little bit of practice on
sewing}
so the golves won’t be too tight!
Alright, almost there already!
Step 4|Take the scissors and cut
along the lines.
If you have a bit more time to
spare and a needle and thread
close by (and know a tiny bit
about sewing) you can make
the gloves more fitting.
What you need to do:
Step 1|Grab a warm old sweater, preferably wool because it Step 5|Just sew the bottom
won’t fringe unlike other materi- edge to make it a bit tighter to
als.
fit your hand as you wish, but it’s
not a must at all.
Step 2|Next, place your hand
on the sweater, start at the bottom of the sweater as displayed
on the pictures, this way you’ll
have a cute sort of ‘ribboned’
edge on your glove.
Step 3|Draw around your hand,
but don’t forget to leave a
good distance between your
hand and the lines for the glove
