Summer is...

Summer is not just one of the
seasons. Summer means vacation. Sea,
beach, tan, tasty and beautiful fruits,
warm sun, warm nights, long days and
three of the most warm months: June,
July and August. In June, the nature
puts forth it’s strength, blooming
plants and fragrant trees, covered
with thick green foliage, on fields of
ripening rye. From that month is called
Hleborost. In the hot and sultry days of
July, often the storm replaces the sun
for a short time and thereby we get
refreshing rain. That month is called
Straznik. In August the heat recedes
and we welcome more pleasant warm
days. This month is the most peaceful
and gives us generous harvest.
So we have named it Iniven. Why do
we love summer?
First, it’s a vacation. Vacation is the
best period in the child’s life.
We look forward to the summer
during the rest of the 9 months so
that we can take a break from books,
homework and all the fuss.
Filled with new strength to continue
the work. Walk with beloved friends
and just have a good time.
Secondly, this delicious fruits and
ice cream. Love them all. It’s such
a nice warm day to eat something
refreshing. A perfect time to eat fruits
and vegetables which are at their
most delicious in the summer. And
to set the mood perfect, we have ice
cream! In General, these treats are
not only tasty, but also useful.
Thirdly, the weather is warm. Who
doesn’t like warm days when you can
swim? Love them all! During summer,
it is warm even at night. And so, you
can walk from morning till late night.
But watch your head from the sun!
It seems that the summer is so long
that we can forget about school for a
long period of time. But these three
months without textbooks, 92 days
of freedom, 2208 hours of happiness,
132480 minutes of bliss, 7948800
seconds of brightness will also fly and
will not be visible during the academic
year.
And at the end of August we will
again prepare for the school to take
books from the library, buy numerous
notebooks, pens and pencils. As of
September 1 we go back to school
to gain new knowledge and to
remember the old, and wait again for
this long-awaited and most exciting
part/period in the life of every person.
