Misfit Tunes The Magazine November 2014 | Página 16

eric biddines During one of my nights out in the streets of Atlanta, Georgia hitting Indie spots hunting for Misfit Tunes’ finds. I came upon Eric Biddines, a down south southern soul rapper with a flow that rolls easy and harmonic like that of an old school blues singer. He was out promoting his latest project “PlanetCoffeeBean 2.” This Delray Beach, FL native took to the stage with a calm that left me uncertain if he would hold my interest let alone be able to tame the tight beat banging from the speakers. Just as soon as I thought I had reached my decision he went IN! That dude turned the stage into a revival. He performed a couple tracks from “PlaneCoffeeBean 2.” The first track, ‘Window,’ had the crowd’s full attention as it urged you to keep “looking out the window.” The track is a ghetto ode to keep doing you until you reach your goal. Mixtape:: video:: ‘Doors Off,’ the second track, had the crowd going crazy. Eric Biddines rapid fire flow over a southern beat is the perfect delivery for the gritty anthem. On the track Eric Biddines raps about “kicking in the door” of an obstacle standing in your way of reaching our goal. Eric Biddines’ mini set left the crowd much like myself wanting to hear more from the southern rapper whose sound reminds me of the early Outkast albums. Eric Biddines is definitely one that I would suggest you check out he has a flow that merges effortlessly with beats transforming the track . ericbiddines ericbiddines ericbiddines PlanetCoffeeBean 2 16 Lay In You ericbiddines www.MisfitTunes.com
