“Beyond the mirror”
Norah is an unattended girl of thirteen years from
New York who has never had many friends and whom their
parents send to a different high school from her two best
friends. During two years, Amanda’s group bullied Norah for
her body image. Norah, tired of so many insults started
looking for forums and pages of diets to lose weight quickly.
One year later and too many kilograms less, she
become a popular girl. But nobody saw what Norah was really
going through: she was always tired, she had anxiety,
dizziness… One day, her mother found her unconscious on
the floor. Then, Norah received a treatment and hours of
therapy with other teens that have gone through the same
thing she passed. Three years later, Norah and her new
friends
created
and
establishment
to
fight
anorexia, called “Beyond the Mirror”.
