According to Brian Cale , Minto ’ s Latitude Margaritaville division vice president of land development , “ the Latitude Margaritaville Watersound Town Center has a unique and spatially integrated design and incredible location overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway . These factors require a complex planning process and timeline but we are pleased to announce that plans are proceeding on schedule .”
Since the last Barefoot Bulletin “ Making Waves ” update , the roofs are on the Town Center ’ s Fins Up ! Fitness Center , Latitude Bar & Chill restaurant , Changes in Latitude Bar and HOA building . The immense lagoon-style Paradise Pool is plumbed and poured , and the pool deck grading is completed .
The Intracoastal Waterway retaining wall along the property frontage is also completed . In the
Town Center ’ s Town Square , workers are placing the heavy timber roof structure on top of the bandshell in preparation to place the thatched roof and pouring the foundations for the amphitheater ’ s curved , terraced seating walls where residents can view concerts and movies .
Excavation is complete on the Fins Up ! Fitness Center ’ s indoor pool , all sports courts are paved , and the parking lot serving the sports courts and Fins Up ! Fitness Center is paved . And the big news for Latitude Margaritaville pups , the Barkaritaville dog park is progressing beautifully and the bridge connecting it to the Town Center is completed .
