“ Since I moved here , I ’ ve met my best friend ,” says Rhonda . “ Who knew new friends could be such good friends ?” She adds that , if you want to maintain a youthful attitude , Latitude Margaritaville is where you want to be . “ I go to the Bar & Chill every chance I get , three or four times a week . It ’ s kind of the heartbeat of the community . I love it here !”
Rhonda ’ s mother was ill when Rhonda moved her from Kentucky to Daytona Beach so that she could care for her . She was here one week shy of a full year and as proud as she could be of it , always posting photos of her exploits at Latitude Margaritaville . “ I ’ m so pleased I could provide her with that opportunity .
There is intention to know your neighbors and to help your neighbors here . My neighbors often offered to check in on my mother when I had to be away .”
Rhonda says she is still fully enjoying life at Latitude Margaritaville . “ It ’ s the friends ,” she says . “ Most of my closest friends now are people I didn ’ t know four years ago . Latitude Margaritaville is a community of friends . I spend almost all of my social time with the people here I have met in the last four years . I ’ m home for good . It was the right move for me at the right time .”
