The spotlight was on Minto Communities and Latitude Margaritaville communities once … twice … nine times at the 2022 International Builders Show when nine National Association of Home Builders ( NAHB ) gold and silver awards were presented to Minto team representatives . The February event was held in Orlando and featured awards presented by NAHB ’ s 55 + Housing Industry Council and National Sales and Marketing Council .
Since it was founded in the early 1940s , NAHB has served as a voice of America ’ s housing industry . The National Awards pay tribute to superior achievements by sales and marketing professionals , homebuilders and their associates .
Latitude Margaritaville Watersound , located in the Florida Panhandle near Panama City Beach and Scenic Highway 30A , garnered two NAHB Gold Awards . The first for “ Best Sales or Marketing Event ” recognized the community ’ s unique April 2021 Virtual Grand Opening of model homes during the COVID-19 pandemic .
Virtual appointments as well as individual in-person appointments were offered with nearly 2,000 appointments reserved within days .
The second gold recognized “ Best Single-Family Community , Amenity on the Boards ” for the underconstruction Latitude Margaritaville Watersound Town Center . Phase One Town Center amenities will include a Town Square with a unique tiered amphitheater , thatched-roof band shell , full-size concert stage , jumbo screen and special cushioned dance area . A two-story Latitude Bar & Chill Restaurant and Overlook Bar will have breathtaking views of the Intracoastal Waterway and a Changes in Attitude Bar will serve poolside beverage concoctions . A Fins Up ! Fitness Center will include aerobics studio , indoor lap pool , spa , fitness classes and wellness programs . There also will be tennis , pickleball and multi-use sports courts , walking trails , and a Barkaritaville Dog Park .
In addition , Latitude Margaritaville Watersound received three Silver Awards for the Aruba singlefamily home model , and Bamboo Conch Cottage model as well as for “ Best Integrated Marketing Strategy or Campaign ” for the community .
Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head , located in Hardeeville , South Carolina near Hilton Head Island , also brought home a gold for “ Best Community Lifestyle Program .” As those who have experienced it already know , the Latitude Margaritaville lifestyle program is like no other .
