WE ’ VE PROBABLY MADE MORE CLOSE FRIENDS HERE THAN ANYWHERE ELSE IN OUR LIFE .

“ We really liked the villa we were in for the Stay & Play . It was very private ,” says Gary . “ We ate at the Bar & Chill and drove around in our golf cart to see the models and look at available lots . It was a great opportunity to check things out and see the quality of construction .” “ Everyone was so nice ,” adds Fran . “ We went to the beach and explored the area and decided right then that this was what we wanted to do .”
On the way out from the Stay & Play , rather than going back to Canton and thinking about it , they stopped at the sales center and signed up then and there . “ We picked out the house and put our money down ,” recalls Gary . The couple moved into their new single-family Aruba home on St . Somewhere Drive in June 2021 .
Being Jimmy Buffett fans also might have factored into their decision somewhat . “ Gary is definitely a Parrot Head . This is right up his alley ,” laughs Fran . There is no pause when they are asked about their favorite Jimmy Buffett songs . Gary ’ s favorite — “ Come Monday .” Fran ’ s favorite —“ Grapefruit-Juicy Fruit .”
What do they like best about living at Latitude Margaritaville ? “ The people ,” Fran says with emphasis . “ It ’ s kind of like your first week at college .” says Gary . “ We all have something in common whether its grandkids , sports , social aspects …. We ’ ve probably made more close friends here than anywhere else in our life .”
