Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach residents topped off their Day of Giving with a cookie exchange that featured the best of the best of resident baked goods .
The Latitude Margaritaville Community Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation established to support and promote charitable endeavors and community initiatives . The Foundation is funded through the collection of a $ 100 fee from each home buyer upon the initial sale of a home and every subsequent resale and transfer of the home . This is matched by Minto Communities . Applications for funds are submitted to the Foundation with a maximum donation of up to $ 5,000 considered for each organization .
According to Latitude Margaritaville Lifestyle Director Ramona Ward , “ The Day of Giving is so well received by everyone each holiday season . However , Latitude Margaritaville residents are always ready to help others . There is no shortage of generosity whether it ’ s dollars , clothing , school supplies or meeting other specific needs of our neighbors in the greater community .”
