LATITUDE MARGARITAVILLE WATERSOUND SELLS 1,000th home

Latitude Margaritaville Watersound sold its 1,000th home in December . After opening to a resounding response from home buyers in May 2021 , this newest of now three Latitude Margaritaville communities reached this milestone in just 19 months . The community ’ s initial phase is anticipated to include approximately 3,500 homes .

Dorothy Scattone from Jackson , Mississippi , was quite surprised to learn she had just become the 1,000th home buyer at the popular community . Dorothy says she has been visiting the Watersound area for at least 10 years . “ I found out about Latitude Margaritaville last May-ish when I was googling retirement communities and said , ‘ Oh my gosh . How did I miss that ?’”

Dorothy decided to experience a Stay & Play weekend at Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach to learn what she could expect at Latitude Margaritaville Watersound . “ Right away , I met

people who invited me to lunch at the Latitude Bar & Chill . The people at the next table invited me to join them , and we went swimming in the Paradise Pool and to an outdoor concert the next night . The pool is better than any resort pool I ’ ve ever been to . The restaurant has a wonderful variety of food choices . It ’ s calm and peaceful and everybody is so nice . I drove around in a golf cart . It was so fun .”

Dorothy thinks that by being the 1,000th home buyer , the universe may have been telling her not to be nervous about her big decision to buy a home at Latitude Margaritaville . “ I ’ m still a little in shock . I didn ’ t think I would get the house for several more months . I said , ‘ My gosh , I ’ m actually doing it !’ I ’ ve always dreamed of living in a beach town . Here was the opportunity to stop dreaming about being a local and actually become one . The timing was right . It was now or never ! I chose now . I ’ m looking forward to seeing what it feels like to be a resident , meeting new friends — especially that part !’
