The vibe is vibrant at Latitude Margaritaville Watersound on Northwest Florida ’ s gorgeous Emerald Coast . In April 2021 , the community opened 13 colorful island-style model homes to an overwhelming response from home buyers . In May , a live-streamed virtual drawing for the first release of homesites drew over 1,000 participants . In September , clearing for the community ’ s amenity Town Center began , and , in October , the first residents started moving into their new homes .
According to Brian Cale , Vice President of Land Development for Latitude Margaritaville Watersound , “ The first 200 homesites released in May were quickly purchased . We ’ re well into construction of the next phase with 164 homes . We are currently releasing for sale 50 homesites a month , and we ’ re already preparing to start construction on another phase of homesites .”
Clearing for the Town Center is almost completed , and work has started on the amenity building pads . Town Center phase one amenities will include a Town Square that features an amphitheater with a thatched roof bandshell , full-size concert stage , jumbo screen for concerts and movies , and dance area . A two-story Latitude Bar & Chill restaurant overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway , Changes in Attitude Bar , and a second floor Overlook Bar will serve up great views along with Margaritavilleinspired fare and liquid concoctions .
Also included in the phase one amenities is a stateof-the-art Fins Up ! Fitness Center with indoor pool and spa . Residents also will be able to sun and swim at the lagoon-style Paradise Pool . There will be tennis and pickleball courts with lighting for night play , and a Barkaritaville Dog Park for resident pooches .
Phase two amenities will include a Workin ’ N ’ Playin ’ Center , Last Mango Theater , Hangar Workshop for golf cart tinkering , and Barkaritaville Pet Spa .
Latitude Margaritaville Watersound ’ s first residents are already finding great ways to embrace the Latitude Margaritaville lifestyle of fun , food , music and escapism as they celebrate moving into their new homes and meet their new neighbors .
