The McDonalds selected a Breeze Bay singlefamily home that will be located at the corner of Lost Shaker Way and Good Life Way . “ When you walk in the door , you can see straight out through the living area to the lanai . It ’ s a beautiful view ,” says Sharon . She also especially likes the kitchen and huge serving island . “ The island is so big that we call it a continent . When you have gatherings , you have a place to serve the food as well as extra seating .”
While Sharon likes to cook , she and Steve say they will likely spend a lot of time at the Latitude Bar & Chill restaurant . “ The Bar & Chill will know us well ,” laughs Steve . Sharon and Steve had a great preview of the Latitude Town Center amenities during their Change in Latitude Getaway at Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head .
“ We ’ ll be liking all of them ,” notes Steve . “ We ’ ve been to the Bar & Chill , the Paradise Pool and Fins Up ! Fitness Center . It ’ s a great fitness center . We ’ re also looking forward to just hanging out with neighbors , having a few adult beverages and listening to music .”
“ We ’ re looking forward to new friends and having fun ,” says Sharon . Although their new home isn ’ t ready yet , the McDonalds are getting to know their neighbors through the Latitude Margaritaville hosted Zoom Happy Hour gatherings that include games like “ Name that Cocktail ,” “ Battle of the Sexes ,” and more as well as live-streamed Jimmy Buffett concerts .
