The Hangar also includes a Woodshop equipped with tools like table saws , sanders and much more for woodworkers and do-it-yourselfers .
At the new Last Mango Theater , residents can enjoy movies , live performances , programs like Ted Talks and , of course , dancing . “ The technology at the Last Mango Theater is amazing ,” says Mona . “ Our professional talent booker will bring in theatrical performances , dance , music , magicians , comedians and other performers . We also plan to do movie matinees once or twice a month . And the theater has a concession stand that serves snacks , including popcorn , as well as adult beverages .”
Two additional tennis courts , three additional pickleball courts and bocce ball courts also have been added to the existing sports courts . All with lighting for night play .
“ With the addition of the phase two amenities , our playground for adults has been taken to a whole other level ,” says Mona . “ There now are even more opportunities to experience programs , have more fun and meet new neighbors . There is something going on all of the time and you can participate in as little or as much as you wish .”
According to Mona , a possible itinerary for fun might include a visit to the Clayground to work on a piece of pottery , popping in for a Cork & Fork presentation by the chef , then capping off the day with dinner at the Bar & Chill followed by live music and dancing in the Town Square . “ And it ’ s all in your own backyard ,” she adds . “ No one ever asks , ‘ What can I do here ? The question is , ‘ How much can I fit in one day ?”
And the family pups definitely get to share in the party . They now can get their pampering on and feel right at home at the new Barkaritaville Pet Spa , where the light fixtures are paw prints and everything is designed for doggy comfort .
