Verified Traceability
The entire Minotaur Solution is designed for traceability. Items in
Minotaur can be flagged as requiring lot control or serial control
as needed.
stock or use/sell lots you never received or produced.
Costing can be tracked by lot
and/or serial number, so that if
you sell two lot/serial numbers of
the same item on an invoice, and
those lots have different costs associated with them, the invoice
costing report will reflect the total
cost accurately.
Lot control is used to track products where there is a one to many
relationship, meaning when more
than one unit has the same lot
number (e.g. Bottles of BBQ sauce
produced by a particular run that
all have the same lot number).
Recall reporting is standard:
Serial Control is for items where
there is a one to one relationship,
meaning each unit is distinct in
some way (e.g. A box of steak
could be serialized if each case
has a unique catch weight).
Trace forwards and backwards
by product and lot number
Trace all products produced in
a day or on a production line
You will be ready for a recall anytime. In minutes you will have all
the information you need to remove a product from the shelf.
No more worrying about unannounced audits or Friday afternoon customer mock recalls; the
information is maintained and reports can be run live, at any time!
Minotaur ERP allows you to track
lots using keyboard entry. Minotaur WMS (handheld warehouse
management system) allows you
to track and record lots/serial information through scanning.
Minotaur ties all lot controlled finished goods to the raw materials
and interim products used in creating them, even across a date
range.
Verified Traceability means that
the system will check every transaction involving a lot or serial controlled item to make sure it is possible and not allow you to use/sell
more of a lot than you have in
