This is the only domestic enterprise with the integrated use of basic nuclear facilities and maneuvering hydro power facilities on the Southern Bug. The structure of the energy complex includes: - South Ukrainian nuclear power plant; - Oleksandrivka hydro power plant; - Tashlyk hydro pumped storage power plant. The South-Ukraine Nuclear Power Plant is the basis of the energy complex. The station has three units WWER-1000, which constitute two production lines. According to the international regulatory organizations, their level of reliability meets the European safety requirements. Since the beginning of its history, the Energy Complex on the Southern Bug has generated more than 500 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity for state needs. Hard work of the team, extensive reconstructive and modernization activities helped extending the life of the first and second units of the SU NPP in 2012 and 2015, respectively. The work on reconstruction of technical water supply to the SU NPP is underway, which includes the implementation of the following projects: the construction of 5 spray ponds and the arrangement of the radio direction facility (curtain) in the waters of the Tashlyck reservoir, etc. The work on the completion of the Tashlyk hydro pumped storage power plant is underway. 204 International Exhibition Centre
