Learn basic horsemanship in this unique new program
for horse lovers. With no prior experience necessary,
our teaching techniques ensure success in graduated
steps, promoting self-esteem and confidence.

Activities are tailored to the level of the student, from
beginner to intermediate, and include the following:
• Daily riding with instruction

• Proper safety and handling of horses and ponies

• Stable management, grooming, tacking, feeding, etc.

Campers will need to find their own transportation to
Prairie Breeze Stables (directions will be provided prior to
camp). Please arrive by 8:45 AM, and pick-up at 4:30 PM.

Please bring your own snacks/water and a packed
lunch, as participants will be staying on-site for lunch.
Please also wear heeled footwear (rubber boots preferable).
Helmets are provided.

ages 5-15 during all scheduled Brandon School
Division’s professional development and in-service
days during the 2014-2015 school year, starting in
