About the Foundation
Philex Group Foundation, Inc. (PGFI) was launched in 2010 with the objective of
complementing and leveling up the government-mandated Social Development &
Management Program (SDMP) interventions, as well as expanding its reach beyond its host
communities. Through the SDMP, PGFI and its partners have implemented numerous projects
and interventions in education, environment, health, and public infrastructure for the host and
neighboring communities.
At present, PGFI’s direct beneficiaries are Philex employees and their families (to sustain their
livelihood beyond PMC’s intervention) and the residents of neighboring communities.
