FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Answers to your questions provided by Veleta. WHAT DOES 5-FREE MEAN? All MINE Luxury Nail Lacquer is 5-Free, meaning it’s free of 5 toxic ingredients found in many nail polishes --formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate (DBP), toluene, formaldehyde resin and camphor. WHAT IF I FEEL LIKE I’M NOT GETTING ENOUGH COVERAGE AFTER ONE COAT? Shake the bottle for another FULL sixty seconds and try applying again. Sometimes when the bottle is fresh, it is so full that it takes more effort to shake it. Try resting your bottle upside down for a while before using. WHAT ARE THE TINTED BASE COATS FOR? Bole, or underpainting, is used with traditional gilding applications to enhance and produce subtle color variations in the reflections of the gold. Try MINE’s tinted Base Coats, which act as a bole, under our Gold lacquers or as a base coat for our Gold Leaf or Shimmer Top Coats. All of MINE Base Coats are fortified with real pearl and diamond powder to create a long lasting Base for our exclusive Lacquers. HOW DO I CHOOSE THE RIGHT GOLD COLOR FOR MYSELF OR A CLIENT? While they do seem similar at first glance, try holding the nail wheel up to your clients nail and see which GOLD looks better with their skin tone. The 24K is a darker, deeper yellow, and the 22K has a lighter & brighter hue. WHY IS THE MINE BOTTLE SMALLER THAN AN AVERAGE BOTTLE OF NAIL POLISH? The only colorants in MINE are precious raw minerals, and they are EXPENSIVE. MINE was developed so only one coat is necessary for coverage, so you and your clients will need less. Also, remind your clients that it is rare that the average consumer uses an entire bottle of nail polish, resulting in a massive amount of nail polish ending up in landfills every year. With MINE, you and your clients will be sure to use up every drop. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FINE SILVER AND STERLING SILVER? Fine Silver is pure silver 99.999% and is very soft. Sterling silver is an alloy or mixture of 92.5 % fine silver and 7.5% copper, and is most commonly used for silversmithing and jewelry.
