I’m at the

starting line

when I make a mistake, I look at the cheetahs. Every single one of them is looking right at me, not moving. Then I’m off. At first I forget about the cheetahs and just have fun feeling the ground beneath my feet. Then I hear the countdown and I run even faster than I thought I could run. I don’t even hear their paws hitting the pavement. I want to look behind me so badly but I know that if I do, I will be cheetah food.

countdown and I run even faster than I thought I could run. I don’t even hear their paws hitting the pavement. I want to look behind me so badly but I know that if I do, I will be cheetah food.

Something’s not right. Nobody is at the finish line, not even a cage or the cheetahs’ tamer. I keep running and so do the cheetahs. I do the only thing I can think to do, try and loose the cheetahs in the streets. I come to a dead end, the only thing I can do is go into the graveyard. I go into the graveyard and shut the gate behind me. Then everything goes black.

When I wake up I had no idea where I was. I look around and all I see are tombstones. Then I remember the cheetahs and I look outside. I breathe a sigh of relief and go to the gate. When I try to open it, it doesn’t move. I don’t see anybody on the street to help me.
