This theory of how language is first conceptualized makes sense, doesn’t it? After all, in spite of our culture, we all make use of gestures when we talk and both spoken words and gestures are tied and timed together in any conversation we have. Let’s consider the following case: What gestures do we make as we talk to others about a very exciting thing? Commonly, we would move our arms a lot, smile, nod our head, and point out things that are not even present at the moment of the conversation. These gestures are parallel to the words and phrases we say and help us construct our ideas in a better and more meaningful way.
This explanation of how language is conceptualized and eventually transformed into speech is only an attempt to understand this complex issue. However, it is clear that this theory responds to the wonders we might have about how language is firs conceptualized. After all, word should come from somewhere…
