As it is a tradition to choose the Beauty Queen from the English program, the Student Association Board is working on organization and making arrangements for this huge event in which five beautiful ladies will participate. There will be artistic performances, music and other entertainment genres during the event. The contest will be held in November and it is expected to have many students from the university attending this event. This year the theme for the contest is “Rio” as it represents joy, colors, carnival, the warm Brazilian culture and one of the host cities for next year’s world cup.
The participants will wear zamba-related suits and of course, they will do some dancing for the public. Intelligence, personality, attitude, beauty, and support from the public will account for the selection of our new Beauty Queen from the English program.
