About the MFG Excellence Awards
Manufacturers make exceptional contributions to the state of Michigan,
including the economy, their workforce, our communities and the industry.
Help us celebrate manufacturing excellence by nominating a deserving individual,
exceptional company or noteworthy product for the 2019 MFG Excellence
Awards. The Awards will be presented 11/7/19 in East Lansing during a prestigious
evening of celebration and recognition to honor the rich history and bright future
of Michigan manufacturing.
Nominations Open
“Manufacturers do so much for Michigan’s local communities and most
of it the general public never hears about,” said MMA President & CEO
Chuck Hadden. “The MFG Excellence Awards allows manufacturers to
share their stories and recognize the hard work of their people and of their
peers. Manufacturers work to create great products while people drive by
without knowing the amazing stuff happening inside these buildings. Not
enough organizations recognize that.”
Nomination Process
The judges will determine award recipients based on the content and quality
of the completed nomination forms. Anyone, except MMA staff, may nominate
an individual employed in Michigan’s manufacturing industry. Self-nominations
are encouraged. The submission of additional information about the nominee and
the company, such as letters of recommendation/commendation, testimonials,
press articles and company brochures, is highly encouraged. You may submit
multiple nominations for each category. However, numerous nominations for the
same person/organization/program will not make them more likely to be selected.
