We had a good breakfast at the hostel and decided to go for one last swim in Cinque Terre. I think the 'beach' at Manarola is the most beautiful of all. When getting in the water, there are black fish swimming around your feet. You swim in between rocks. The water was so clear it was a little scary to look down.
After the sunbathing I went for a little walk uphill, where I found a beautiful cemetry decorated with flowers.
When Pam and I went back to the hostel to grab our stuff, we ran into Simon and
Manarola
Gustav we learnt to know at the language course in Como and they were in the company of Rick. We had a drink together.
Then Pam and I walked back to the hostel and met an Italian man with his one year old son that grabbed my hand. The man told us he and his wife were leaving for Milano as well so they could give us a lift. We were really happy because, although we had already bought our traintickets, this would be way faster. When we were in the car already, the wife was cursing and said she would go by train herself if we would join for the ride. Because, although we really would have liked to go by car, did not want to cause a divorce, we got out of the car and took the train.
