HIS LIFE...

His is the classic story of the American self-made. Sheldon Adelson, one of the richest men in America, was born poor on August 6, 1933 in Boston, in a family of Jewish immigrants from Eastern Europe.

No college, but since I knew very little how to make money, first by selling newspapers, candy machines later, toiletries, etc.. After fulfilling his military service, he founded Comdex along with several partners, the company that would help you amass a fortune of 27,000 million.

Adelson proved to be a man with a vision implanted in Las Vegas a business model based on the idea that fairs and conventions in the "city game" could be a windfall. And so it happened. Tourism jumped into the world of gambling. One of his most eccentric hotels is the Venetian Resort, a recreation "kitsch" of the Italian city with canals and gondolas for customers.
