PushButton

Structure and draping are part of the fashion lexicon, but they are the dark arts that few come to know well enough to exploit. At PushButton we saw Korean star Park Seung Gun deliver elegance and at times almost Anime themes with aplomb.

Shapes were reworked to cut away from the straight lineal and crafted into three dimensional forms that had volume and overlays with drama and movement that belied the sharpness of the tailoring. More of this please.

Roberta Einer

Colour abounded with Roberta Einer, and mixed with texture it produced stunning looks. This was a very wearable collection that is perfect for the modern woman. Her understanding of textiles and traditional tailoring were used to full effect in creating a series of looks that were part of the full wardrobe concept.

I also loved the almost lime green dotted through the collection, cleverly used either as a full block colour or as a push back against the deeper tone of the checks.
